First weekend in Texas
Moving is a big, huge, pain in the butt. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. But, I
think I can safely say that only one thing was broken, and although it was something I didn't WANT to get broken. I can live
with it. All in all it was a pretty smooth move. AND!!!! I've got a lot of things unpacked already.
YAY!!!!! If you follow me on
Twitter you'll have seen pictures of all the going's on the last few days.
What's
Twitter??? It's a micro-blogging site. If you're a Facebook user it's similar to the status updates, without all
the other stuff. I really like Twitter, mainly because I can text in comments and pictures throughout the day.
It's pretty random stuff, and probably kind of weird, but it gives me an outlet. Because, you know, sometimes you just
have something you want to say!!!!!
Anyway, Saturday was my Dad's birthday, so last night we had a little party
for him. And since a blog post is better with pictures, here you go:

Happy Birthday Dad!!!
(one of my first blog posts on this blog was my dad's birthday party LAST year
- time goes by crazy-fast!!!!)
Don't forget I'm open for business starting
TOMORROW!!!!!!
My schedule is booked for Thursday and Friday but I have Tuesday and Wednesday and the weekend.
Happy Memorial
Day everyone!!!

Short and Sweet
Here's the second of my two new session packages. This one is smaller, and perfect for a Senior, a couple, or for a family
that would just like some shots of their children. Please note that it IS limited to just one or two people, so if you
have a family larger than that you'll have to upgrade to a larger package. Anyway, here are the details:
SHORT
AND SWEET
$100
-$25 print credit
-Up to 2 people
-30 min-1 hour
-1-2 clothing changes depending
on time
-Around 30 proofs shown in a private, online gallery
For all my sessions there is a 50% deposit (based on the actual session price) to book the sitting. In case
of cancellation this deposit can be used on a future session, but cannot be refunded.
There is a sampling
of print prices on my "prices" page, but if you'd like a full price list please email me and I'll send you a PDF
that includes all the products I offer.
I hope these new sessions are a hit with everyone! I realize that
not everyone has a big family, or a need for a full two hour session, and that there are also people who know they will
order a ton of prints and would like more value. I tried to fit both of these into my new sessions and I hope that now
I offer a little something for everyone. Please do not hesitate to call me/email me if you have any questions!!!
Also - I will be available for sessions a little earlier than anticipated (starting May 25th), so I'll be sending
out the June newsletter at the end of next week. If you're considering booking a session you'll DEFINITELY want to keep
an eye out for this one. It's got a GREAT deal, AND can be used in conjunction with the coupons I sent out, but it's
very limited. You'll have to act fast to get in on the June special.
Hope everyone has a great weekend
and GOOD LUCK to my brother and the rest of the 5:00 Family. They're competing in some sort of meat cook-off, and
if there's anything my brother knows how to do it's cook meat. ANY kind of meat. So GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!!

Super Deluxe
I'm adding a couple of new session types. One for those of you don't need everything in my standard, regular session.
And another, bigger one, for those of you who want MORE!!!
I'll give more details on the smaller session once I
have the details settled, but here's info on.....
SUPER DELUXE!!!!
$200
-Includes a
$100 print credit
-10% off all prints and products
-Up to 5 people, each additional person is $25 each
-1-2
hours total shooting time
-2-3 clothing changes depending on size of group and time constraints
-Around 60 proofs
shown in a secure, online gallery
This is a GREAT deal. It's essentially the same as the old, regular
package, but paying more upfront means you get a larger print credit AND a discount on prints and products.
Also remember all my prints and products are priced a la carte - meaning I don't require a package purchase of prints (which
might include prints in sizes you don't need) or a minumum print order. This might be different than
what you're used to from portrait photographers, but I think this offers a better value for my clients.
I hope this is something you guys will like!!! Check back in a few days to hear my other package.
It's smaller (and less expensive), and I think it's going to be a perfect fit for some smaller families.
And because a post is no fun without pictures, here's another shot from my last shoot!

Hope everyone is having a great week. I'm SUPPOSED to be packing - only 10 days until I'm officially
a Texas resident once again. :)

Holy Moly!
This is my friend and hair stylist Jennifer. She's going to kill me because I'm blogging her photos from yesterday,
since I haven't even shown them to HER yet. I'll take my chances though because these are too good NOT to share!!!!

Isn't she hot?! And she's super fun too. We ran around in an alley for about and hour and
went through about 4 clothing changes (tip for girls: Jennifer was brilliant enough to wear a fitted tank top
under her shirts, so she could just whip off a shirt without worrying about finding a private place to change).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this little doorway.

It's so hard to decide, but I think this might be one of my favorites.

I think this is definitely a record for number of pictures in a post - but there were too many to choose from!!!
Our shoot was originally because she needed some head-shots, but I think she's also planning on giving some
of these to her mom as a Mother's Day present. I think that's a GREAT idea! Most of our mom's probably
never get anything other than snapshots once we're grown and out of the house. AND - if you have brother's and
sisters you guys could team up and get group shots AND individual shots (and it's still just one sitting fee, but divided
two or three ways!). PERFECT gift for your parents!!!
Anyway, I can't wait for Jennifer to see these.
She's going to FREAK OUT.
OH! And May newsletter is coming soon! (I just realized it was
May 1 - oops. Where is the year going?!) There's some big news in this one - so keep your eyes open for it!
