I've added even MORE holiday cards.  I think there's definitely something for everyone at this point.  The only problem is choosing just one!  I'm even having a hard time - but I need to get mine done and sent to the printers so I can work on everyone else's!

If you're wanting to book a session specifically for the holidays, time is running out.  I'll be in Texas the entire week of Thanksgiving, and then when I return I have a ton of work to do on my Texas shoots - and very little time to get it accomplished.  So my Birmingham people are running out of time!  Get in touch with me ASAP so we can get something arranged. 

Also - about the Texas mini-sessions:  I've got lots of inquiries and two actual bookings for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.  There were only 12 spaces available to begin with and now we're down to 10.  Which may seem like a lot right now - but from what I hear those spaces are going to fill up.  So hurry!!

The weather has been amazing this weekend, so I couldn't resist getting up early this morning (yes, 9:30 can be considered early!) and following the kid down to the tennis court.  The light outside overcame my fear that someone might see the outfit I was wearing......

I finally received my promo cards for the Texas edition of "Holiday Mini Sessions".  I've somehow managed to talk my sister in law into passing these around to her friends.  I can't wait to see the response!  I'm really excited about all the fun card designs I have.  Plus - the promo cards are the same design as the card itself - so what you see is what you'll end up getting.  Well, different design of course, but you know what I mean!!!  And designing the promo cards was also a good excuse to use my new logo.  Think I should have t-shirts printed???!!!

Don't forget, Bham guys, that I'm doing this for you too!!!  I just don't have any formal dates set up.  So just call me and we'll get it set up.

Meet Elvis.  He's a red-eared slider (I think.  If my brother is reading this and I've got it wrong let me know!) and he's so cute!!!!!  We've been wanting a turtle for a while and finally found one this weekend at Octoberfest in Alexander City.  Why did we want a turtle?  I really have no idea.  Maybe it's from growing up with a brother who was OBSESSED with them.  We lived out in the country and, if we passed one in the road on the way home, my brother always make my mom stop so he could take it home.  He never really kept them - he'd mostly just let them go in the woods behind our house.  But I can't TELL you how many times a turtle rode home with us in the floorboard of the back seat. 

I know you city kids are thinking we were craaaaaazy - but trust me when I say that the turtles were one of the better things we'd drag home.  Just ask my mom!

At some point I'll be through adding cards.  Might be December 20th, but I WILL get through.  :)  I'm going to be having special Holiday Card mini-sessions over Thanksgiving week in Texas, and I'm thinking about doing the same thing here in Birmingham.  The cost is $50 and includes (1) set of 24 cards or a $30 print credit.  Let me know if you're interested.  I'll need to get these done before Thanksgiving if at all possible, so you've only got about 5 more weeks.
