I take so many pictures that sometimes I forget what I have. And then, when I'm backing up my external hard drive
onto DVD's, I find files full of photos that I downloaded but then never looked at. That's what happened yesterday.
I came across some photos of a kick-ball game between my son and his friend. Even with only two people it was pretty
cut-throat!

But I love the little vingette's better than the action photos. It's all about the details for me.
Like the frayed knees and hem on my son's worn-out blue jeans.

Or the rubberband he was inexplicably wearing around his wrist.

I love kid's hands! Especially this kid!

But this is usually how he looks - not at ALL still, quiet, or calm.

Until he sees me getting out my camera. And this THIS is usually what I end up with.

Oh well! Better luck next time, right?!
**I was experimenting with a vintage action with these
pictures. I like this fuzzy, 70's look that ends up making these pictures of my son look an awful lot like pictures
of my little brother that my mom might have dug up from the back of her closet. Well, other than the Crocs.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. Mine has been crazy. Crazy fun, but still crazy.
And it's not even half over! Summer is definitely my favorite season. I love the heat. I love swimming.
I love being outside. I don't love the mosquitos, but that's the only downside I can think of - and thank goodness
for bug spray!
